Corporate Event Emcee in Kissimmee, Florida: Will Gill

By | Published On: May 29, 2024 | 11.5 min read |

Short answer

If you need a corporate emcee in Kissimmee, Will Gill has already worked the two biggest conference rooms in Osceola County: four days at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in March 2025 running seven general sessions, and a two-day awards program at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in March 2026.

One booking covers three jobs: DJ, emcee and a one-man team-building show. He holds 2,520 five-star Google reviews, was named the number one corporate DJ by The Wall Street Journal, and is a Forbes Next 1000 honoree. Rates are published below.

Where I have actually worked in and around Kissimmee

Two of these rooms are inside Kissimmee city limits. The third is on the Orlando side of the county line, and it is listed as Orlando rather than dressed up as local. Client names appear only where the client has cleared them.

When The room
March 2025 Four days at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, 6000 W Osceola Pkwy in Kissimmee. Emcee and DJ across seven general sessions, opening the program at 9:00 am on the Monday and staying with it through Wednesday. The client is withheld because I do not print a company name in marketing copy without their sign-off.
March 2026 Two days at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, 1500 Masters Blvd in Kissimmee, on a national retail brand’s awards program, including Voice of God announcements recorded in advance of the show. Client withheld for the same reason.
August 2023 Cracker Barrel’s FY24 managers conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott. That address is Orlando, not Kissimmee, and it is listed here so the Orlando-area history is complete rather than implied.

Each row is backed by a contract, certificate of insurance or event folder in my records. I do not list rooms I have not stood in.

What a corporate emcee does that a “host” from the agenda cannot

Kissimmee programs are multi-day association and corporate conferences at Gaylord Palms, awards galas and incentive nights at the ChampionsGate and Reunion resorts, and dealer meetings in hotel ballrooms a few exits off I-4. The audience has sat through a thousand introductions. The emcee’s job is to make the schedule hold and the room stay awake, not to be the star.

Moment in the program What I am doing
Doors and walk-in DJing the room to the energy the opening needs, then bringing the house to order on time without a producer having to beg.
Executive handoffs Short, accurate introductions, names pronounced right, sponsor reads delivered as written, and the clock protected when a speaker runs long.
Awards block Pacing thirty names so the room still cares about the thirtieth, with walk-up music matched to each winner.
The dead spot When the laptop dies or the caterer is late, the interactive team-building show fills the gap on purpose instead of by accident.
Reception The same person who ran the general session DJs the party, so the energy never resets and there is one contract, one point of contact.

That is the 3-in-1: DJ, emcee and a one-man team-building show. Planners book one vendor instead of three, and the person on the microphone has already run the room since doors.

Why Kissimmee rooms are busier than they look

Osceola County is not a suburb of the Orlando convention market. It is a conference market with its own tax base, its own convention hotels and its own expansion program. The size of it is not a guess.

The practical takeaway: the big Kissimmee convention hotels sell their first-quarter and spring blocks a year or more out, and the ChampionsGate expansion will only tighten those windows. Lock the host when you lock the venue.

What it costs to book a corporate emcee in Kissimmee

My rates are published, so there is nothing to negotiate around. Half day is $5,000. Full day is $8,000. Rehearsal-only is $1,000. Multi-day programs get $1,000 off each additional day after day one. Virtual hosting is $2,300 for the first hour and $2,000 each additional hour. Travel to Kissimmee is coordinated as part of the booking so nothing lands on the planner’s plate.

A Kissimmee conference usually books as a multi-day program, which is where the additional-day discount does the most work: my 2025 Gaylord Palms contract ran four days with a separate travel line. An awards night or a welcome reception on its own is the half-day rate. Hotel rooms at the big convention properties are normally carried on the client’s master account, which most planners here already assume.

Five questions to ask any corporate emcee, including me

  1. “Walk me through how you handle a run of show that slips 20 minutes.” A working emcee answers instantly and unemotionally. A voice-for-hire talks about their intro.
  2. “Who is riding the fader on my CEO’s microphone?” If nobody owns the podium feed, your executives will fight the room.
  3. “Show me footage of you talking to a corporate audience, not a dance floor.” Everyone has party clips. Very few have footage of holding a general session.
  4. “Can I have the name of the specific person performing, in the contract?” Essential with agencies and multi-host rosters.
  5. “What is not included in this number?” Staging, uplighting, LED, labor and travel move a quote enormously. Ask before you compare.

Frequently asked questions about booking a corporate emcee in Kissimmee

Have you emceed at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee?

Yes. In March 2025 I emceed and DJed a four-day conference at Gaylord Palms, 6000 W Osceola Pkwy, across seven general sessions, opening the program at 9:00 am on the Monday and staying through Wednesday. The certificate of insurance and the signed contract both name the venue and the Kissimmee address. The client company is withheld here until they clear the mention.

Can one emcee hold a room the size of the Osceola Ballroom?

Gaylord Palms lists 73 event rooms, 519,242 square feet of total event space and a largest-space capacity of 10,000, with the Osceola Ballroom at 48,505 square feet and a 42-by-96-foot stage. My 2025 program there ran six scripted emcee decks across seven general sessions in exactly that kind of room. I have also hosted a 10,000-person Hilton general session and three Super Bowls.

Do you work the ChampionsGate side of Osceola County?

Yes. In March 2026 I delivered a two-day live awards program at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, 1500 Masters Blvd, plus Voice of God announcements recorded ahead of the show. The Omni has 1,005 rooms and over 255,000 square feet of meeting space across 69 rooms, with a 40,000-square-foot largest room.

What does a corporate emcee cost for a Kissimmee conference?

Half day $5,000, full day $8,000, rehearsal-only day $1,000, and $1,000 off each additional day after day one. Virtual hosting is $2,300 for the first hour and $2,000 each additional hour. Travel is itemized on the contract, and multi-day hotel nights at the convention properties are usually carried on the client’s master account.

Why do so many corporate conferences land in Kissimmee instead of downtown Orlando?

Osceola County’s tourism industry generated a $10 billion economic impact between 2022 and 2023 with roughly 10 million overnight visitors and a record $81 million in Tourist Development Tax collections, and in July 2026 the county approved a proposed $20 million investment toward an approximately 60,000-square-foot expansion of the ChampionsGate Conference Center. The rooms are here, the room rates are lower than the convention corridor, and the parks are still fifteen minutes away.

We are planning an incentive trip at Reunion Resort or Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Can you run the awards night?

Yes. Reunion Resort lists 25,000 square feet of meeting space with over 17,000 square feet configured for groups up to 800, and Margaritaville Resort Orlando has 265 rooms and over 25,000 square feet of function space with a 7,014-square-foot largest room. The format is the same one I ran at Gaylord Palms over four days in March 2025: emcee, DJ and an interactive team-building block on one contract.

Our event is in September. What is your hurricane-season plan?

The Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30 and peaks around September 10, according to the National Hurricane Center. I book arrival the day before the program, the way the 2025 Gaylord Palms brief had me on site the Sunday before a 9:00 am Monday open, and the contract’s date-change clause covers Act of God postponements without a change fee.

Which airport should we fly you into, and how far is it?

Orlando International, MCO, is the airport clients specify for Gaylord Palms programs, and my 2025 client put the resort at roughly 35 minutes from the terminal. The travel allowance on that contract was $1,000 domestic. Travel is coordinated on my side so it never lands on the planner’s plate.

Can you host a large-format event at Osceola Heritage Park or Silver Spurs Arena?

Silver Spurs Arena lists a capacity of 10,000 in 33,600 square feet, the Events Center is 60,000 square feet, and the Heritage Club seats 200 in 7,000 square feet. Arena-scale rooms are inside my range: three Super Bowls, a World Cup, a Formula 1 race and the MLB All-Star Game.

Do you also cover the smaller Kissimmee hotel conferences near the parks?

Yes. Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South on Kyngs Heath Road has 40,000 square feet of meeting space with a 15,000-square-foot Palms Ballroom, and Westgate Town Center’s conference center opens to 5,520 square feet for 10 to 600 attendees. A half day covers a general session plus a breakout energizer at that scale.
